IV. Other precautions for use
Do not exceed the recommended dosage or frequency of use. If the application area or surrounding area is dirty, please wash thoroughly before applying the medication. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after using this medication. This medication is for external use only and should not be ingested. It should not be used around the eyes or on mucous membranes (such as the mouth, nose, vagina, scrotum, vulva, etc.), eczema, maceration, ulceration, cracking, or severely injured areas. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with water or warm water and seek immediate medical attention at an ophthalmology clinic. Do not apply this medication to large areas of the body (approximately larger than the area of two palms). Keep the application area well-ventilated after use; do not seal it to avoid increasing side effects. The treatment course for most fungal infections is at least 2 weeks, depending on the severity and location of the infection. Do not use outside the affected area, nor use as a preventative measure. Fungal or bacterial skin infections are sometimes difficult to distinguish from other dermatitis. Misuse of steroids can worsen the condition and make future diagnosis and treatment difficult. Long-term use in children is more likely to cause Cushing’s syndrome and adrenal dysfunction. Long-term use of steroids on the face, armpits, and groin can easily lead to local skin atrophy. For tinea or other skin infections, anti-infective agents should be used. Using steroids alone will worsen the condition. If symptoms recur several weeks (usually within two weeks) after discontinuing this medication, or if symptoms have subsided but skin redness, stinging, or burning sensation persists, this may be withdrawal syndrome. Please consult your doctor, pharmacist, or dispensary with this instruction leaflet.
