「Building with integrity, acting with honesty, giving with compassion」

中美滄洲文教基金會

Passing goodness forward,
making care part of our culture.

Since our founding in 1936, SyntroMed has remained committed to the principles of building with integrity, acting with honesty, and giving with compassion, viewing business growth and social responsibility as equally important commitments. Our founder and successive generations of leaders have believed that a company should be more than an organization that creates economic value—it should also be a positive force for society.

Over the past ninety years, from supporting military families and providing winter relief in our early years to long-standing efforts in emergency assistance, support for disadvantaged groups, disaster recovery, and social welfare, SyntroMed has stayed true to its spirit of gratitude and giving back. Through meaningful action, we have continued to grow alongside the communities we serve.
This family tradition of caring for others has been passed down through generations. Leaders from all three generations of the company have been recognized nationally for their contributions to good deeds and community service, reflecting SyntroMed’s enduring commitment to putting our values into action.
We believe that remembering our roots and giving back with gratitude allows the power of goodness to be passed from one generation to the next—becoming a warm and steadfast source of support for society.

Rooted in education,
empowering the future

Guided by the belief of our second-generation leader, Mr. Lin Tsang-Chou, that we should “do good, honor our parents, and give back to society,” the Chung Mei Tsang Chou Cultural & Educational Foundation was established in 2015. The Foundation is committed to supporting education and caring for disadvantaged groups, using the power of education to create more opportunities for children to change the course of their lives.

We believe education is one of the most lasting and impactful investments in a person’s future. Over the years, our former President’s wife, Mrs. Lin Shih Shu-Mei, personally visited nearly 300 schools, bringing care, encouragement, and support to more than 100,000 students and accompanying them as they grew.

Advancing health equity through the power of charity

As a pharmaceutical company founded in Taiwan nearly 90 years ago, SyntroMed has always believed that health is a fundamental right that should be accessible to everyone. Over the years, SyntroMed and its Foundation have worked together on initiatives in health promotion, emergency relief, care for rural area, and support for vulnerable groups. By turning our pharmaceutical expertise into a force for social good, we continue to expand access to health resources and advance health equity.

Second-generation leader, Alexander Lin, CEO of SyntroMed , carries forward the family’s belief in “giving back to society what we have received from it.” As he leads SyntroMed toward ESG, he is also committed to creating social impact through our core business. In recent years, SyntroMed has continued to support overseas volunteer programs donate health and medical care kits, provide emergency relief at home and abroad, and promote health equity. Through these efforts, we hope to help healthcare reach beyond geographic and resource barriers and bring care to more people in need.

Looking ahead, the Foundation will continue to bring together corporate resources and the collective strength of society, carrying forward nearly 90 years of commitment to giving back. By keeping this cycle of giving in motion, we aim to create lasting, meaningful, and far-reaching positive impact for society.
