Foundation
「Ethical business, honest dealings, compassionate service」
Passing on goodwill
Making compassion part of our culture
Since its founding in 1936, Chung Mei has upheld the spirit of 「Ethical business, honest dealings, compassionate service,」
treating corporate operations and social responsibility as equally important missions. Our founder and successive leaders have believed that a company should not only create economic value, but also drive social good.
Over ninety years, from early support for the military and winter relief, to long-term emergency aid, care for the underprivileged, post-disaster rebuilding, and public welfare, Chung Mei has stayed true to its founding spirit of gratitude, supporting society's growth through action. This tradition of giving has passed down through generations — all three generations of leadership have been honored as Model Citizens for Good Deeds, a testament to the company's lasting commitment to public welfare. We believe that staying grounded in gratitude keeps the spirit of giving alive, as a steady source of support for society.

Rooted in education
Cultivating the power to change the future
In keeping with second-generation leader Mr. Lin Cang-Zhou's philosophy of “doing good and giving back to society,” the Chung Mei Cang-Zhou Foundation was established in 2015 to advance educational assistance and support for the underprivileged, using education to create life-changing opportunities for more children.
The Foundation believes education is the most far-reaching investment in transforming lives. Over the years, former Chairwoman Mrs. Lin Shih Shu-Mei personally visited nearly three hundred schools, bringing care and encouragement to over one hundred thousand students.
The Foundation also supports talent development among Chung Mei's member pharmacy partners, awarding scholarships each year to young pharmacists, encouraging new talent to keep advancing as we grow together toward a more hopeful future.

Advancing shared wellbeing
Putting sustainable impact into practice
As a pharmaceutical company rooted in Taiwan for nearly ninety years, Chung Mei believes health is a right everyone deserves. Over the years, the Foundation and the company have worked together on health promotion, emergency relief, support for remote communities, and care for the underprivileged, turning pharmaceutical expertise into a force for social good while advancing health equity.
Fourth-generation Chairman Lin Ming-Chuan carries on the family spirit of “taking from society, giving back to society.” While leading the company toward sustainable growth, he has also driven public welfare initiatives centered on its pharmaceutical expertise — including overseas volunteer health services, donated medical care packages, emergency relief at home and abroad, and sustainable programs for health equity, helping care reach more people in need.
Looking ahead, the Foundation will keep combining corporate resources with the strength of society, carrying forward nearly ninety years of dedication to public welfare, so this cycle of goodness keeps spreading and creates a lasting positive impact.
