  • Avoid direct sunlight. Do not exceed the recommended dosage or frequency of use. Wash the application area or surrounding area thoroughly if dirty before applying the medication. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after using this medication. This medication is for use only on the lips and face. If you are unsure whether you have cold sores, consult a doctor. Do not use around the eyes or on mucous membranes (such as the mouth, nose, vagina, scrotum, vulva, etc.). Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with water or warm water and seek immediate ophthalmological attention. Keep the application area well-ventilated after use; do not seal it to avoid increasing side effects. Use for at least 5 days to treat cold sores for a faster recovery. For personal use only. Do not share with others who have the same symptoms. The cream included in the package is sufficient for one outbreak of blisters. It should be started as soon as a cold sore appears. Applying acyclovir cream at the onset of stinging may prevent the cold sore from developing. If blisters have already formed, using acyclovir cream can speed up healing.
