Chung Mei's research and development closely tracks the trends and health needs of the people in Taiwan. - Passed validation evaluation by the Department of Health, and rated as third phase cGMP pharmaceutical factory.
- OTC medicine launched in Hong Kong (Huada Co., Ltd.), and expanded sales to Shenzhen and inland of Mainland China.
2003
- Passed the validation evaluation by Department of Health, and rated as second phase cGMP pharmaceutical factory.
- Introduced herbal tea from Germany in Taiwan market.
- Accepted the R&D request and became the original equipment manufacturer of the Sleepman Tablets from the “Whole Win Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.”.
- Accepted the formula R&D request and became the original equipment manufacturer of the Tri-Umbrella Yuluan Solution from “Daiyu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.”.
2002
- Proven efficacy through the “Assisting Traditional Industrial Technology Development Program” ~ “Health Food – Siberian Ginseng Research and Development Project” counseled by the Industrial Development Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs: safe quality, and contains the function of elevating immune system.
- Received counseling from the Department of Commerce on “Chain Store Operation Integration Management” POS system.
2001
- Passed assessment by the Bureau of Food and Drug Analysis, Department of Health, and was rated as a first phase cGMP pharmaceutical factory.
- Industrial Development Bureau counseled on the promotion of “Internal Electronic and Professional PDA for Enterprises” project.
2000
- Mr. Lin Ben-Yuan began to serve as the Director of Taiwan Pharmaceutical Manufacturer Association, and became an industry voice regarding policy establishment and the pharmaceutical market.
- Established overseas business division in Singapore for the sales of beverages, health foods, and medicines.
- Received professional counseling from the Department of Commerce on establishing the B to B business system.
1999
- Participated the “Program of Affiliated Businesses Assisting with Small and Medium-sized Enterprises on Research and Development” of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the “Technology Development of Slow-release Preparations” researched and developed by the company passed the research and development application.
- Signed collaboration contract with the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry Technology and Development Center on project collaborations of “Evaluation and R&D Counseling on Round Capsule Preparations” and “Formula Design and Manufacturing Process Development of Prolonged Cold Medicine in Capsules Formulation”.
- Collaborated with the Development Center for Biotechnology on the project of “Mass Production Technology for the Mycelium Fermentation of Hericium Erinaceus”; officially entered the biotechnology field, and initiated the new direction on researching and development for health foods and drugs.
- Collaborated with Taiwan Kunyang Company, and obtained the domestic market distribution rights for the world patented product – Kewutong prolonged muscle pain patch.
- Assisted and sponsored the Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu Chi Foundation on the production of international disaster relief family medicine and health box.
1998
- Signed collaboration contract with the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry Technology and Development Center on “Pharmaceutical Technology and Product Development” – on bioequivalence experiment between Atenolol 100mg and Chlorthalidone 25mg compound tablet.
- Signed collaboration contract with the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry Technology and Development Center on “Pharmaceutical Technology and Product Development” – advanced technology authorized collaboration for the product development of medicated patch.
1997
- Obtained the distribution rights of “SMILE A” eye drop in Taiwan from Japan Lion Corporation.
- Introduced female condoms from the Female Health Company (UK) Plc, and obtained the regional distribution rights of the product.
1996
- Introduced the automatic packaging machine and liquid agent from Japan.
- Celebrated the 60th anniversary of the company in Macau.
- The Sea Lucky Logistics Center was established and began operation.
1995
- Introduced the number one Australian dietary supplement brand CENOVIS on open-shelf retail stores with reasonable pricing, which lead to the creation of a new era of dietary supplements.
1994
- Established “Chung Mei’s Health Trend Drugstore Chain” to guide the transformation of subsidiary traditional drugstores into a modern pharmaceutical business to adapt to new trends and changing consumer needs.
1988
- GMP new plant completed and started to operate.
- Reviewed and recognized by Industrial regulatory agencies as “GMP implemented pharmaceutical factory”.
