- Recruited GMP specialists from the Stats and Japan to be the GMP planning consultants of the company.
- Applied for the GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing specification review from the Department of Health, Executive Yuan according to the GMP manufacturing standard specification.

- Mr. Lin Ben-Yuan, the 3rd successor of the enterprise, joined the management team as General Manager, who introduced modern management systems and brought significant sales growth through enterprise reforms.

- Established Sea Lucky Enterprise Co. Ltd. to manage the import and export of health supplements, western medicine, medical instruments, baby supplies and so on.
1972
- Chung Mei expanded into the international market through export to Southeast Asia.
- Chung Mei received approval for the manufacturing of traditional Chinese medicine products. (Taiojing Zhongzi Wan).

- Expansion to the current manufacturing plant at Changlu Road, Changhua City.
- Established Mei Chou Drugs Co., Ltd., specialized in sales of various imported medicine.

- Reorganized and expanded into Chung Mei Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., with the current chairman Mr. Lin Tsang-Chou taking over the business operation.
- President Lin Tsang-Chou and his wife attended the Global Chinese Entrepreneurs Pharmaceutical Conference in Kuala Lumpur.
1967
- Chung Mei’s Cold Syrup was officially approved for sale.
