- Former President Lin Tsang-Chou joined the management team and became the second-generation owner, who went on to establish a membership-based sales system, opening up an unique marketing channel in the pharmaceutical industry, and cooperating with local community drugstores for the benefit of the public.
- Chung Mei held its first homecoming gathering for drugstore owners to build strong bonding.
1959
- Verified by Dr. Sun from the U.S. FDA as the very first Class A integrated pharmaceutical plant in central Taiwan.
1947
- Changed company name to “Chung Mei Pharmaceutical” and focused business on manufacturing western medicine.
1943
- Focused business on fighting malaria and was awarded for its success.
1936
- Mr. Lin Jin-Zhi founded “Chung Mi Drug Store,” selling over-the-counter medicine such as Tai-Chi Brand Ganji Tablets (roundworm medicine), Daluodi Solution (pesticide), and Guerming Eye Drops, which became popular all over Taiwan.
